Life at Med School
the life of a torn bubble trying to stay afloat

Well, this weekend has been crappy. The ducks lost big time (retards), I came home to find that my ceiling has a leak and had dripped an unknown substance onto my $110 VERY pretty duvet cover that I waited 6 months to buy (i hoped it would go on sale but never did), I fear that my fan may fall off the ceiling so I'm sleeping on my futon for now while I have plastic over my bed since there's still some fluid collected in the fan that continues to drip on my bed. And then today I found out that my classmate Andy died friday from his SNUC tumor. On top of all this, my period will start this week, I leave again for thanksgiving, then for more interviews. I planned on getting my car tuned up and doing christmas shopping. And I thought my only concern about being gone would be a bunch of dead roaches on the floor (they always arrive dead). I now wish that all I had were a dozen dead roaches instead of this stupid roof thing. I emailed the one person who is in the office but I think she's out and so tomorrow I will trek to the office after my first day of Computers in Medicine. At least I have a light rotation to deal with all this crap. Okay, I'm going to watch some cartoons.
