Life at Med School

the life of a torn bubble trying to stay afloat |
Clinic was good today. I only saw 4 patients but since I have to see them then present to my preceptor then we both see them, it tends to take awhile. My patient with scabies still has me itching (I always start itching after any patient with an infectious rash). And I learned some tips in preparing for doing OB as an FP and what I need to keep track of. I wasn't going to do C sections but Dr. G made me a bit excited about that part again.
I went to a Duck game last night! It was lots of fun riding down to Eugene in the Duckmobile. It was weird sitting so high up since the last game I went to I sat in the student section in the front row. They lost but it wasn't too bad of a loss - better than last year's game so that's a small plus for them. Apparently a few of the people who were there with us were sitting next to the duck quarterback at breakfast this morning and were criticizing his crappy performance (they all played horribly though). I wonder how he's feeling - poor guy. The kicker was horrible. Clearly he either has never taken physics or just didn't learn anything or maybe he didn't know he could apply those theories to his kicking. I guess it's a rebuilding year. Well, I need to eat a snack.
