Time for Oregon State to get a new place kicker. That Serna kid messed up multiple times on field goals and basically lost the game for the team. Hmmm...sucks to be him. Of course, OSU practically ran the football into endzone for LSU with 2 holding penalties. Morons. And this is why kids who will actually give something good to society have to pay for their education and these idiots get their free sociology degrees? What exactly can you do with a sociology degree?!? Okay, so my cousin Laura I think has one of those and she's a teacher so I suppose that's one use. And she can easily beat me up so I better not say these things around her. Well, I wonder when Univ of Oregon plays their first game and whether or not I'll get to see it on tv. U of O games always get blacked out and instead I'm forced to watch Notre Dame games...even when U of O was ranked higher. I need to get back to the northwest so I can watch these games on tv. I like to take out all my anger on those idiots when they invariably mess up. stupid football players.

It seems that storms with names of my family members are hell bent on making impacts. First uncle Chuck had Hurricane Charley (okay not the exact same name but gramps calls uncle chuck charley sometimes) and now Grandma Brummer has Hurricane Frances. I'm asking that grandma, wherever she may be, will kindly keep her storm away from me and my flood prone city. So far she's done her best and is staying away from here but since that damn state of florida is so damn skinny, the storm will easily pass over it and still have options on where to do damage next - hopefully not here. Maybe this is the sign that I should work very hard on getting my butt out of this state for residency. Sure Oregon, Washington, and California have earthquakes and sure at least with hurricanes I get warnings and days to prepare but for some reason, I'm more afraid of them. Really, when it comes down to it, there's no place in this damn country that's free from natural disasters...or as my limited warranties on all my prized possessions call them, "random acts of God."

Time for Bed! Base clinic tomorrow morning at the VA with Dr. Ledoux, one of the best teachers we have! She could even get my parents to understand EKGs in less than an hour, she's that good.

Well, just a quick note because my hypoglycemia is making me all shakey.
So the SW Washington program rocks. Not because they have a strong program or anything like that but because the free stuff I've gotten from them is cool. First was the $5 starbucks card (used that up today) and now I found out that I won a prize in their recruitment raffle! My first ever raffle win! I won a picnic backpack. Sure, I'll probably never use it any time soon but hey, I won and that's all that matters to me right now.
Well, I need to eat.
