It is with great happiness and elation that I announce the end of my second year of medical school!!! Yippeee for Meeee!!! And now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go swimming then drink with 152 of my classmates. And since I have my new camera, I'm going to take many pictures and share them asap. Hooray!

Oh and I forgot to mention the best thing! I bought raspberries and blackberries today at Sam's club! They're yummy. They're from california but almost as good as the berries in oregon (nothing beats those!). Now I'm going to eat myself sick

yea! pharm test is over. It's annoying how many side effects questions there were but oh well, what are you gonna do? But more importantly, my mozart variations cds came today! There's a bunch of pieces that are variations on themes that are fun to listen to, including the variations on twinkle twinkle little star. It's from The Complete Mozart Edition series by Phillips. The whole collection is over $1500 but that's a lot of music! I think there's 45 volumes and each has 3-5 discs. Mine has 5 discs but it also includes Rondos and other pieces. Well, now that I have more music, I guess it's time to get back to work!

Ow...I drank some strawberry milk (was feeling a bit hypoglycemic but not hungry for a meal) and now my tummy/small intestine is pissed at me because I didn't take any lactaid. Looks like I'm back in the phase of being more lactose intolerant than usual since I can usually drink a 12 oz glass of milk with no problems. Other times I can eat ice cream and have no problems at all...

Hey cool! I have a new post on my guest map! Looks like a med student from Indonesia! I went to the site listed and couldn't read it cause it was a different language. Or at least part of it was...So exciting! Almost as exciting as studying about the autonomic nervous system! Nothing could be better than that! Oh boy! (sarcasm...extreme sarcasm)

one down and 2 to go...well 3 if you count the one in june but 2 left for this week and that's pretty uplifting. Now onto my pet peeve of the moment. I don't know if you've ever looked at online customer reviews or read through discussion boards but I find it incredibly annoying to see grammar so poor that the post or review makes no sense whatsoever! I realize that my grammar isn't perfect but I usually read over these posts and the posts I make on discussion boards (my research before I buy products) to filter out the obvious errors. And occasionally the spelling errors show up or I'll invert the letters in a wrod...word (see like that) and those I'll forgive but some of the crap I see is so annoying because I first have to translate then think about what was written. I also forgive those who appear to have english as a second language (they usually say they're not english speaking folks) because english is tricky for non native speakers. Oh and it also annoys me when people try to look cool by using abbreviations or numbers for letters or otherwise truncate words to make the posts appear shorter. Sometimes all they do is remove a single letter!!! What the hell! If you're going to abbreviate the word, at least leave off more than one damn letter! Hey, maybe it was a spelling mistake but I find it hard to believe that they could mispell as many words as they do. Again, first the translation then actually reading the post and those types of posts are usually the ones that are the least comprehensible. If there are grammatical errors within this post, then they're not of the obvious variety (to me). Besides, in a journal, there's no need to be grammatically correct...especially since I like writing in the stream of consciousness style. Well, I'm taking a lunch break. I'm not sure what I want to eat. I may have to take a trip over to the grocery store for a hot pocket or something else that can be cooked in the microwave.
