Life at Med School

the life of a torn bubble trying to stay afloat |
Yes yes, I know I've been delinquent on writing my thoughts. Let's see...I studied at Barnes & Noble the other day and ended up talking with this guy who seemed nice but shortly got annoying. We talked about our ethnicities cause he thought I looked spanish (that's a first!) and then after the conversation seemed to end, I went back to studying psych and this is when he got annoying. He kept interrupting me to ask me one question at a time over and over again. So I left to go to the bathroom and came back and sat in the chair that was by itself to prevent him from coming back over to ask me more questions. I guess he couldn't tell I was studying (I was reading the textbook at the time). Today we had some practice time with our ophthalmoscopes with a bunch of ophthalmology residents. It was pretty fun. Then I went and gave blood since there's a shortage of my blood type and type A. My blood was so nice and warm against my skin and it was so fun seeing the blood squirt into the bag everytime I squeezed the ball (that description was for you dad). And then when I was putting pressure on my arm, I made the comment that my arm felt nice and warm and apparently that was misunderstood cause the 2 nurses who worked there stopped in their tracks and kept asking me if I felt dizzy or weird or warm all over. Note to self: don't make any comments after giving blood. Then I balanced my checkbook. And I just came back from the post office. Tonight I'm going to a play (Beyond the Grave). And now I'm hungry.
I'm so annoyed. Early this morning someone kept knocking on my neighbor's door over and over and over again but now I'm not so sure because that annoyance became incorporated into my dream so did I dream it or was it a reality? I thought I remembered getting out of my warm bed to look out my peep hole and window but was that in my dream? Things then got weird in my dream because my real neighbors are white and married and in my dream, it was middle east dude working on building a restaurant/gas station and we now lived on the first floor on a busy street and my brother Craig lived on the other side of this loud neighbor and so I asked him, after he expressed the same annoyance about the noise, why he didn't yell at them since his bedroom window was closer to the noise. Anyway, when they were having a private opening at the restaurant/gas station, we went and the food was okay but then while dishing out something, yogurt sauce spilled on the top of my head and my cousins Pam and Jamie were suddenly there pouring a whole pitcher of water over my head at the table and they kept pouring water as I walked to the bathroom and wouldn't knock it off and I got annoyed. Then I went over to the gas station part to check it out and then I woke up. Bizarre. My dreams often change location by the introduction of people from that next location into the first location. THey don't belong in the first location so I ask them when and how they got there and then they ask me if I'm high or something cause just as they say that, bang! I'm in that next location where they normally belong. Since I've lived in oregon, hawaii, and now louisiana, those are the 3 main places that I jump around in during my dreams. anybody know the meaning behind that?
