Okay, so today I went and officially changed my schedule. This, of course, required the approval of the medicine dept student scheduler. So i go in and say simply, "I need to change my schedule." And as predicted, she proceeded to give me a stern look and a sigh then said "I just sent an email about the dropping policy." And so I said simply, "yes, but you sent it 2 days past the deadline and I was out interviewing." Then she sighs again (are sighs supposed to scare ME?!?) and said "this is a policy that's been in place even before I arrived and the dean's office knows this policy." So I say immediately, "Well, they never shared it with the students." Then she takes her little stamp and signed my form. Victory! I'm proud of myself since I didn't have to get mean and just used the facts I had. Sighing...Please! It takes more than that to make me back down!

Still waiting for my niece to arrive into this world.
