Life at Med School
the life of a torn bubble trying to stay afloat

I think my neighbor's chihuahuas are manic. They're actually irritating because anytime they see any moving object or hear any normal sound (like a door opening), they freak out and yip continuously. I swear, a nice dose of some lithium for those dogs could make my life quieter.

Neurology is over!!! Well, okay, almost over, I still have the psych written exam, psych shelf, and neuro exams to go but no more tuning fork fun for me. I'm glad that I didn't have to do a discharge summary for one of the patients. He's had a loooonnng stay thanks to some iatrogenic stuff and there may be a lawsuit. That said, I can't believe that one of the residents said that I could do the summary! I don't think that a med student should do that if lawyers will be involved. I certainly wouldn't want a med student to do a d/c summary if there was a possibility of family suing me and the medical team.
